Darije Dejanovic - Daki was born in Smederevo, Serbia, on September 30th 1988. His father played acoustic gutar so Darije took some lessons from him as very young. After, he have played a lot and bought electric guitar. That’s when his real development as musician started. He worked really hard and learned to play complete opus of many bands and guitarists such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Pantera, Judas Priest, Death, Joe Satriani, and long, long list of songs of other bands and musicians.

Daki is a heavy metal fan, but he also played blues, rock, hard rock, jazz... Along with playing other artist’s songs, Daki started creating his own style, made of hard riffs, melodic and acoustic parts and virtuous solos. When he felt ready for playing in a band, he joined thrash metal band Twister, from Belgrade, and played couple concerts with that band. Those were his first public shows. Later, he met Shone, the drummer, and invited him in a new band, with two more former members of Twister. But, new band didn’t work seriosly and guys from Smederevo left it.

Then Shone gave an idea to invite Eddie and start from the beggining with Patrias. So, three of them finally started a serious Patrias story on September 26th 2013. Daki’s basement became their rehearsal room. From first tones they felt the energy and chemistry like they were playing together for years. That’s how Patrias actually strated a new life. Band was formed in 2005, but it’s real work started when Daki, Shone and Eddie played the first rehearsal. After that, everything was easy. And still is.
